Elizabeth O. Shear Foundation Memorial Scholarship

Elizabeth Otis Shear was a longtime resident of Tuckerton, New Jersey. Throughout her life, Ms. Shear was dedicated to helping others, including her work with the local town doctor and demonstrated a commitment to care and community wellbeing. Through the Elizabeth Otis Shear Foundation, philanthropic support has focused on assisting high school students in Southern Ocean County as they pursue higher education, continuing her legacy following her passing in 2004. It is the intent of the Donor that the Elizabeth O. Shear Foundation Memorial Scholarship provide scholarship awards to undergraduate students in the School of Health Sciences.2. Student recipients will be determined by the Stockton University Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee. Recipients are expected to be full-time students in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA 3.0.
