Koopman-van de Kar Award for Undergraduate Students

The Koopman-van de Kar awards at Stockton University were established by Mr. Jack Koopman as an endowment in perpetual memory of Isaac Koopman, Saartje Springer, Hartog van de Kar and Heintje Polak – his grandparents – who perished in the Holocaust. The awards benefit undergraduate students with a proven interest in Holocaust and Genocide Studies, in good academic standing and with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
