Elizabeth Alton Memorial Scholarship
The Elizabeth Alton Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Elizabeth Barstow Alton, a revered founder of the College, in recognition of her tireless efforts to convince the New Jersey State Board of Higher Education to build a new college in Atlantic County. She was an original member of the Stockton State College Board of Trustees, and one of the first persons to begin recording the College’s history. Recipients are expected to be full-time undergraduate or full/part-time graduate students in good academic standing, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
