Zachary Veneziano ‘17

Zachary Veneziano ’17 established the Jan and Vinnie Veneziano Scholarship, dedicated to his beloved mother and in memory of his late father. Jan and Vinnie, high school sweethearts who embarked on their journey together after graduating, dedicated themselves to nurturing their family of four children throughout their adulthood. They ensured each child had the opportunity to pursue higher education without the burden of student loans, thereby enabling them to concentrate on their academic pursuits as first-generation college students. Through their unwavering sacrifice and support, Jan and Vinnie instilled in their children a deep appreciation for diligence and served as examples of leading purposeful lives. Sadly, Vinnie passed away in 2017, shortly after the graduation of their youngest child, Zachary, from Stockton University. The Veneziano siblings have always been inspired by the profound impact of their parents’ hard work. Jan and Vinnie’s willingness to sacrifice for their children has inspired their relatives and friends and demonstrated the importance of family and pursuing life’s most meaningful goals. In tribute to his cherished parents, Zachary takes pride in founding this scholarship fund in honor of Janice’s legacy and Vincent’s memory.
