The Stockton Up to Us Team 2015

The Up to Us Team 2015 members are DONORS: Angelo Bechara ’17, Louis Chevere ’16, Maryam Sarhan ’17, Brad Ross ’15, and Victoria Muraoka ’19.
The Stockton Up to US 2015 team won the grand prize from the Up to Us competition in 2015. Stockton competed against 45 Universities from across the country to raise awareness about the US long-term national debt. The team that had the most interesting and effective campaign was chosen as the winner by a panel of judges (Chelsea Clinton Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation, George Stephanopolus ABC, Senator Joaquin Castro, Mayor Mick Cornett, Ben Rattary CEO. Change.org). The Stockton team traveled to the University of Miami in March 2015 to accept this award from former U.S. President Bill Clinton. The hope that this scholarship will push the recipient to be aware of the long-term national debt, by keeping the conversation going in school, at home, on the bus, anywhere; and
