Sandpipers Pipes and Drums of Atlantic County Endowed Scholarship

The Sandpipers Pipes and Drums of Atlantic County (formerly Atlantic City Fire Department “Sand Pipers” Pipe Band) formed in 1997. The Sandpipers is comprised of members from public safety professions as well as civilians who are dedicated to honor and pay proper homage to those in public safety and the military, who lose their lives in the line of duty, by playing the pipes at their funeral or memorial services. “We honor our fallen” is the band mantra. The band was incorporated in 2004 as a nonprofit 501 ©(3) so they could raise money for worthy causes.
