Robin Whitfield

Robin Whitfield, on behalf of Healing House Life Center Church, created the Reverend Thomas B. Whitfield and Evangelist D. Whitfield Scholarship to distribute an annual award for the benefit of University students. Reverend Thomas B. Whitfield and Evangelist Deborah Whitfield were long-time residents of Atlantic City and served faithfully as pastors of Calvary Baptist Church in Pleasantville, New Jersey. Reverend Whitfield believed strongly in higher education and professional training. He mentored many, ordained future pastors, and celebrated the academic achievements of others. Evangelist Deborah Whitfield shared his vision. A college graduate who continued her studies in nursing, she encouraged people of all ages to pursue their education. Though Reverend Whitfield is deeply missed, Evangelist Deborah Whitfield continues to support her family and community through prayer and encouragement, especially in the pursuit of education.
