Robert Mejia and Cannabis Education Supporters

Rob Mejia, Cannabis Studies faculty member at Stockton University and founder of the Garden State OG brand, established the Garden State OG Cannabis Studies Endowed Scholarship to support students pursuing a degree in Hemp and Cannabis Studies. This scholarship will expand access to opportunities within this emerging interdisciplinary field. The Garden State OG initiative was created to honor New Jersey’s cannabis pioneers – the advocates, educators, and community leaders who helped shape the state’s cannabis culture and policy landscape. Today’s students represent the next generation of “OGs.” By supporting their academic work in science, policy, business, and community engagement, the scholarship helps prepare Stockton students to contribute thoughtfully and responsibly to the evolving cannabis industry.
