Ms. Dale Briliant Dewitt & Mr. Seth Briliant
Dale Briliant Dewitt and Seth Briliant established the Morton & Isobel Briliant Endowed Scholarship in honor of their parents’, Morton and Isobel Briliant. Affectionately known to many as “Mr. and Mrs. B”, both were longstanding figures in Atlantic City’s hotel and hospitality community. For many years, they owned and operated several well-known Atlantic City hotels, including The Barclay, the Park Central Hotel, and the Dudley Hotel. Together, they exemplified the best traditions of innkeeping, creating welcoming environments where guests experienced not only comfortable accommodations, but also genuine warmth and personal attention. Education held deep personal meaning for Morton and Isobel Briliant. Both were first-generation college graduates who understood firsthand the transformative power of higher education. The Morton and Isobel Briliant Endowed Scholarship honors their deep commitment to their guests and to the community they served, and it carries that spirit of service forward. By supporting deserving students pursuing studies in hospitality and tourism, this scholarship celebrates Morton and Isobel Briliant’s enduring legacy—one rooted in service, education, and hospitality.
