Mr. Julio A Morgan
Julio Morgan Gillis is a native of Asbury Park, New Jersey, and a graduate of Stockton University (formerly The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey), where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Information Systems. He later completed a Master of Business Administration at Eastern University. Early in his career, Mr. Morgan worked for the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and the Casino Control Commission, conducting information-technology security reviews within a multibillion-dollar gaming industry. Mr. Morgan’s professional journey has been closely tied to the McDonald’s brand, beginning at age 15 at his mother Marty Gillis’ first restaurant in Neptune, New Jersey. In 2012, he formally joined the family business and went on to serve as General Manager and later Chief Operating Officer of the Gillis Organization. Under his leadership, the organization expanded from five to twenty-two McDonald’s restaurants across New Jersey and Upstate New York, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, employee development, and community engagement. Mr. Morgan has also held national leadership roles within McDonald’s franchise governance, including Chair of the Stamford Field Office Administrative Council and Vice Chair/Franchising Officer of the National Franchisee Leadership Alliance.
