Mrs. Kathleen F. Whelan, the loving wife of Senator James Whelan, along with family and friends founded the Senator James Whelan Memorial Scholarship to honor his legacy. Senator Whelan both loved and remained committed to the development and prosperity of Atlantic City. This award opportunity supports Stockton University students who graduated from Atlantic City High School in achieving their dream of a high-quality education.
