Friends and Family of Edward Salmon

The Friends and Family of Edward Salmon have established The Edward H. Salmon Scholarship to honor Dr. Edward H. Salmon, whose life reflects resilience, leadership, and a deep commitment to public service. Over the course of his career, Dr. Salmon devoted decades to education and public leadership, influencing thousands of students in Millville Public Schools and serving in numerous public roles, including Mayor of Millville, Cumberland County Freeholder Director, New Jersey State Assemblyman, and President of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. Dr. Salmon’s impact extends to Stockton University, where he was a founding force behind the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy, and a longtime leader of its Advisory Board.

This scholarship honors his legacy by supporting students committed to learning, leadership, and service, ensuring that his example continues to inspire future generations.
