Friends and Associates of Elizabeth "Betsy" Sanders

The late Dr. Vera King Farris, former president of Stockton University, and representatives from Denny’s Corporation and Washington Mutual Inc. developed the Betsy Sanders Endowed Scholarship circa 2006. Crafted in celebration of Elizabeth A. “Betsy” Sanders, this program recognizes her stellar career as the director of Denny’s, Washington Mutual, Wolverine World Wide, Wellpoint Health Networks and Wal-Mart stores; founder of The Sanders Partnership management-consulting firm, and author of Fabled Service. Sanders, a life-long learner, holds a master’s degree in Secondary Education from Boston University, bachelor’s degree in German from the University of Munich in sponsorship of Wayne State University, and a Certificate in Management from the Washington Graduate School of Business.
