Gail Ann Hirsch Rosenthal and Robert “Bob” Alexander Rosenthal shared a life defined by love, family, and a deep commitment to community. Gail Hirsch Rosenthal, a revered figure in Holocaust Education and a dedicated leader at Stockton University for over three decades, left behind a profound legacy marked by her passion, commitment, and dedication to the Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center (the “Center”) and her students. As Director of the Center, Gail was pivotal in integrating Holocaust Education into Stockton’s curriculum, establishing the Holocaust and Genocide Studies minor and the Master of Arts in Holocaust and Genocide Studies. Under her guidance, the Center became nationally renowned. The center includes classrooms, an exhibit room, and research facilities. Robert served his country in the Korean War as a United States Air Force medic and went on to build a successful real estate career in southern New Jersey. This fund supports programs at Stockton University’s Holocaust Resource Center.
