Dr. Suman Jain and Dr. Chandru Jain

The Asha Suraj Foundation was created to honor the memory of two matriarchs whose steadfast belief in education and volunteer service enabled the growth and success of their community. They felt educating individuals and instilling them with these values engendered a more equitable, healthier and happier society. These two women felt a particular need to support the underrepresented and disadvantaged to achieve access to the tools that often limited their success. The Asha Suraj Foundation has already made a lasting impact on several communities by helping fund schools for blind children in Delhi, homeless shelters in Delhi and the Ocean of Love Cancer Society in New Jersey. The Foundation is now seeking to support the education of a student of Stockton University through an annual scholarship. They hope in turn, this individual will embrace these ideals and help advance their own community.
