Brian M. Nelson, Esq.

Stockton alumna Brian M. Nelson, Esq.’99, created the Thomas J. Blakely Memorial Political Science Scholarship Award to distribute an annual award for the benefit of university students. Thomas J. Blakely, a former Sgt. in the United States Marines and President of Jamestown Associates, which is a highly-regarded Philadelphia-based political consulting firm, passed away at age 46 on March 15, 2008. Mr. Blakely was instrumental in engaging and empowering many young college students and recent graduates, including Brian, to get fully involved in the political process either running for office or managing local, state and federal campaigns. Brian named this Political Science scholarship in the memory of Thomas J. Blakely.
