Elizabeth Alton Memorial Scholarship

The Elizabeth Alton Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Elizabeth Barstow Alton, a revered founder of the University through her tireless efforts to convince the New Jersey State Board of Higher Education to build an institution of higher learning in Atlantic County. She was an original member of the Stockton State College Board of Trustees, and one of the first persons to begin recording the history of the University Recipients are expected to be full-time undergraduate or full/part-time graduate students in good academic standing, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
